If I’m being honest, I genuinely enjoy getting dressed up – even just for a Target run. But when I’m at home, it’s just way easier to throw on some athleisure attire since most of my day is spent running around the house chasing two little girls and cleaning up after them! I like my athleisure to actually serve double-duty: to look cute if I need to run a quick errand but also function as true workout clothes so I can squeeze in a little fitness at some point during the day. I wanted to share a few of my go-to’s that I wear all the time!
Nike Free Flyknit Running Shoes
I’m a huge fan of Nike Free’s and we had the chance to check out the corporate store here in Memphis back in the fall, so I snagged a pair of these super cute black and white running shoes that are all the rage right now. I’m not much on wearing sneakers with regular clothes, but these are cute (and way comfortable) enough that I would almost do it!
Hi y’all! I can’t believe Christmas is only four days away – hope you’re almost ready! I still have a few things to cross off my list 😉
I wanted to pop in to share three of my current favorites with you for Three Things Thursday – I meant to share these last week, but things got a little crazy around here when our water heater exploded (yes, true story) and water leaked through the ceiling all over our living room. Yikes. So, trying to play catch-up now – fingers crossed for a non-eventful week!
Whew, the past two weeks have been absolute chaos around here! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know that my 3-year-old broke her ankle two days before Thanksgiving – so needless to say, we’ve been slowly trying to get back into a normal routine since then.
I wanted to pop in today to share a few favorites – hopefully this will become a regular blog series, so stay tuned!
1 – BlankNYC Distressed Denim
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of distressed jeans and I even tried on the coveted pair of Rockstars from Old Navy that everyone recommends – but I really didn’t love the fit! I saw these BlankNYC jeans on several style bloggers and thought they looked really nice and high-quality. Unfortunately, they weren’t part of the Nordstrom Black Friday sale, so I did a little searching and found a very similar pair at South Moon Under that were over 50% off last week! In fact, they’re 40% off right now – so grab a pair while you can!
I’ve pretty much always loved shopping at LOFT – well, there was this one time they seemed to lose their course (a few years ago), but they’ve made a big comeback with some adorable styles! The one piece of advice I always give about shopping at LOFT is to wait for a sale – because you better believe there will be one. No need to pay full price for something you can snag on sale!
I’d been eyeing some things and finally decided to order when they had a big sale last week (40% off + up to 60% off clearance). The sales have changed again since then, but there’s still a LOT of deals to be had! I already shared some photos via Instastories if you follow me there, but wanted to get a post up highlighting the pieces I ordered and what I liked/didn’t like. For reference, I almost always choose a Medium in LOFT shirts because otherwise they’re too short for my torso. But, I do find that some pieces run big, especially pants/bottoms – and occasionally a dress or shirt will, too, which means a trip to the store for a quick (and free) return/exchange for a smaller size.
