{38 Weeks}

How far along? 38 weeks.

Baby size: A pumpkin…yikes!

Weight gain: 22 pounds…I actually lost a pound according to my last weigh-in.

Maternity clothes: Yes…maxi dresses/skirts. Wishing it was yoga pants and tanks every day, but that wouldn’t quite be work appropriate 😉

Sleep: Decent. I’ve been waking up throughout the night a lot over the past week.

Gender: GIRL!

Movement: Yes…all the time. I don’t know how she has ANY room in there to move anymore.

Best moment this week: Going to the doctor twice (due to having some crazy contractions in the middle of Wednesday night…false alarm. Sigh.), so hearing baby’s heartbeat twice and finding out I made even more progress. #stillpregnantthough

Looking forward to: Meeting baby soon…today, if I had my way.

Food cravings: Not much of anything. There’s just no room!

Weirdest food I ate this week: Nothing.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.

Labor signs: Well, Wednesday night I was thinking something was actually happening, but the contractions eventually stopped. It did cause more progress, though – 60% effaced and 3cm dilated.

What I miss: Being comfortable and not being short of breath.

Symptoms: Exhaustion, backaches, occasional dizziness…

Workouts: LOTS of walking…trying to walk this baby out!

Things that suck: Hoping all weekend that I was going to go into labor…but no such luck!

Things that don’t suck: Meeting baby very soon!
