Baby Boyce on the Way!

It’s true! Our little family is growing. First, a puppy…now, a baby! We are thrilled to announce that Paige will be getting a little sister or brother in September 2014 🙂 We are super excited, and after a rough end to 2013, we have been extremely blessed with the wonderful things that have happened so far in the new year!

Can I just mention how DIFFICULT it is to keep such a big secret?! I feel like it was written all over my face, when in reality, there was no reason why anyone would know unless I accidentally said something. And, oh my, did I want to say something! I thought I was a great secret keeper, but it was a challenge hiding this one 🙂

We are currently right at 14 weeks along, and luckily I’m starting to feel better, a little bit more every day. Not going to lie, weeks 6-9 were pretty awful in terms of symptoms, but I got through it with a whole lot of laying on the couch as soon as I got home from work and Michael cleaning the house, making dinner, and preparing my lunches for work every. single. day. I definitely chose the right guy. 🙂

Our families have known since week 10, and we also got our amazing wedding photographer, Amanda, to take some cute announcement photos – which I FINALLY can share with the world! There were so many that I loved…had a hard time choosing which ones to post!

I’m also going to follow through on a Pinterest project, too – that rarely happens. 😉 I found an awesome chalkboard at TJ Maxx after searching EVERYwhere for one, and I’m holding myself accountable to taking weekly photos of the baby bump progress. My chalkboard drawing skills are definitely not fantastic, but hey, it’s a start.

Since I barely ever blog anymore, I’m going to aim for weekly updates on the blog…I miss writing and now I actually have something to talk about! Stay tuned for a Week 12 recap 🙂
