Happy Friday, y’all! Whew it’s been a long week of kids not listening and sharing their colds with me – you know, #momlife. There’s definitely a light at the end of the tunnel though, as my parents will be in town for the week to celebrate my 30th birthday(!) next Wednesday. This week’s clean eating meal plan might be a little more adventurous than usual since we will have guests all week and I’ll actually have time to cook since the girls will be occupied – in fact, there’s just ONE slow cooker recipe planned for next week…crazy! šŸ™‚

Monday

Creamy Southwest Chicken with Cauliflower Rice + Broccoli – I’ve actually put this on our menu twice before and for whatever reason, we didn’t end up making it! It’s perfect for a low carb, high-fat day on Faster Way to Fat Loss since it has full-fat coconut milk.

Tuesday

Healthy Pork Chops with Apples and Greens

Pork Chops with Apples + Greens – We technically had these a few weeks ago but they’re my favorite and pork chops are on sale this week at Sprouts (their meats are the best!).

Wednesday

Shrimp and Grits Clean Eating Meal Plan

Shrimp + Grits with Green Beans – I haven’t decided yet if I want cauliflower ‘grits’ or the real thing since it’s my birthday! I have noticed I naturally eat low carb without really trying, so I’ve been making a conscious effort to consume more carbs to meet my daily goals, so I might opt for real grits this time.

Thursday

Dairy-Free + Gluten-Free Lasagna – This is Lindsay’s recipe that I’ve been wanting to make ever since she shared it on her blog! I normally do a zucchini lasagna, but my husband prefers the real thing, so this dairy- and gluten-free option should be a good compromise!

Friday

Clean Eating Meal Plan Taco Salad

Taco Night – Easily the girls’ favorite dinner and means we can have a pleasant meal without begging them to eat! I usually put mine on a salad and have it with some plantain chips. I also like to make Mexican cauliflower rice as a side.

Prolon Day 3 | The day started off really good — Prolon Day 3 | The day started off really good — I felt very clear-minded and awake this AM 🄳 Truly, I was nervous because today was a very low-cal day and I wasn’t sure how I’d feel šŸ˜… I did grab a plain iced espresso because my energy was depleting super quickly and that def helped šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼ After lunch, though, I started to hate depriving myself of real food and disliked that I couldn’t push myself in my workouts like I usually do šŸ˜’ After dealing with three kids who clearly woke up on the wrong side of the bed šŸ˜†, slicing my hand open with a knife and being cranky and irritable because I’ve been hangry for 3 days, I caved. And sorry, not sorry āœŒšŸ¼ I just wanted a dang salad and some protein so I can lift heavy things šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ Moral of the story, listen to your body and what it needs. And maybe try a 1-2 day cleanse/fast because that’s about all mine could handle 🤪

@prolonfmd Day Two | Overall an easier day than ye @prolonfmd Day Two | Overall an easier day than yesterday šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼ Time went by faster and I didn’t have any nausea from being hungry…I looked forward to and savored all of today’s meals — the black bean soup for dinner was actually really good (esp with a little cumin + paprika!) šŸ™ŒšŸ¼ I did @pure_barre this AM and then a @onepeloton walk this afternoon…keeping it light because of how little I’m consuming this week šŸ˜… Not gonna lie, nervous for day 3 because it’s the lightest day of food and I’m already pretty hangry in general 🤣 Interestingly, I’ve felt pretty amazing today other than just craving a real meal šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼ Btw, was so hungry for dinner that I forgot to share it in the reel šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø
