Happy Friday, friends – and Happy New Year, too! One of my goals in 2020 (because resolutions aren’t my thing) is to be more intentional with creating content on the blog. I️ was doing great with posting 2-3 times a week until late into my pregnancy, but then things started to get inconsistent and when Brynn arrived, I️ threw my schedule out the window entirely and posted only when I️ squeezed in time to write or had a sponsored post due. I️ have some exciting projects coming up this year that will require me to post more frequently *but* I️ also want to try and start a Friday Favorites theme to share my random thoughts for the week. This could include anything from recipes to Trader Joe’s finds to a new Netflix show or a cute pair of shoes and anything in between! Here is this week’s Friday Favorites 🙂

Friday Favorites
Lodge Cast Iron Griddle

This is actually a gift my husband received from my parents, but I️ admit that I️ love it just as much as he does! We got a new gas range in October and really wanted a cooktop griddle for it, so we could throw out our old electric griddle. Not only had it seen better days, but it took up lots of space in our cabinet – and this cast iron one is so small in comparison. It also cooks extremely well and we use it at least once a day.
Trader Joe’s Balsamic & Fig Salad Dressing

I️’ve been eyeing this salad dressing every time I️ stop at Trader Joe’s but always grabbed my fave Green Goddess dressing instead. The last time I️ went, though, I️ finally picked this Balsamic & Fig dressing up and I️ don’t regret it at all! It has the perfect hint of sweet and tangy flavor and it goes well with any type of salad in my opinion.
19 Crimes Cabernet Sauvignon

I️’m all about a glass of red wine, especially during the colder months. I️’m honestly not too picky about reds, but still tend to gravitate toward the same ones each time. Now that we have a wine cellar/refrigerator, I️’ve been grabbing a bottle or two of something new every time we go to the grocery store or Trader Joe’s. It’s fun to try new wines and add to my favorites list – and this 19 Crimes Cab is no exception! In fact, dare I️ say it’s my absolute favorite red wine now. You can find it almost anywhere – Harris Teeter, Target, Publix, World Market, BJ’s (it’s super inexpensive here!), etc.

So this week had a *heavily* foodie theme, but I️ promise there will be more variety as we go along! 🙂 Let me know if you’ve tried any of these favorites in the comments below – or if you have other faves to share!
