{Home Tour} The Living Room

Our living room is one of my favorite rooms – it’s comfortable, spacious, warm & inviting (at least I think so!). I see a lot of potential in this room, but I haven’t even scratched the surface with our current layout & decor. We did buy a new sofa recently, and my dad got us two pretty chairs from World Market to add to the room, but we still have a lot of extra space! We have a TV entertainment center console from Ikea that we used in our apartment to put the TV on, but now our TV is mounted on the wall and it sits way too far below the TV in my opinion. I’d love to find a tall table or entertainment console to put beneath the TV – I saw some great ideas in the latest Pottery Barn catalogue, so now I just need to keep my eyes open for the perfect piece for our living room!

Too many bare walls!

Excuse the open windows…the weather was perfect 🙂

I have so many ideas for the wall the TV is mounted to – I would love to do a gallery wall, and with a taller TV entertainment console, it’ll pull the look together. Now I just need to find lots of frames and get more canvases made, too!
