When Spring rolls around, I always get the urge to go shopping – but this year, being pregnant, I’ve been a lot more thoughtful about what I buy to A) make sure it will work during pregnancy and B) also work after pregnancy. With that said, I am trying to stick to as few maternity clothes as possible – I did the same with my other pregnancies and made most of the items in my closet work!
LOFT Saddle Creek Event
LOFT happens to be one of my favorite places to find cute clothes that work for mom life, too, and I’ve made a few trips there over the past few weeks. Most recently, LOFT Saddle Creek invited the Memphis blogger community to come in and check out their new Spring line to celebrate the launch of their Instagram page. We had such a fun night chatting, shopping and sipping (sadly, no wine for this girl but I heard it was really good!) and I even picked up a few pieces that will work throughout pregnancy this spring and summer. I should also mention that LOFT does have a maternity line but it’s only available online – I was able to browse the site recently and noticed they have a lot of the same styles available in maternity, so if you see something cute in-store and you happen to be expecting, be sure to visit their website. Keep reading for a little LOFT try-on session!

Garden Ruffle Henley Top – This one had the cutest print and I almost got it, but I wasn’t sure it would be long enough to cover my belly as it grows!
Leaves Ruffle Henley Top – This is the same style as the top above, just in a different pattern!
Scalloped Smocked Sleeveless Top – I loved this one and it had room for a baby bump, so it came home with me!
Garden Tie-Neck Sleeveless Dress – I loved this one as soon as I saw it and it works so well for pregnancy! Thinking this might be my Easter dress this year.
Striped Mixed Media Sweatshirt – I actually bought this a few weeks ago during my last visit to LOFT and I’ve already worn it multiple times! It’s so cute! They also have a lavender color with a floral shirttail hem that’s perfect for Spring.
Swiss Dot Peplum Top – I loved this one, too and probably would have bought it if I weren’t pregnant. 🙂
Flower Branch Flutter Shell – Loved this top, but didn’t buy it because I felt like it wouldn’t work later in pregnancy. BUT – they make this in maternity, so I might have to order it online!
There are so many cute things in store right now that this little LOFT try-on session doesn’t even do it justice! Definitely go check it out if you need to add some spring and summer items to your wardrobe. They always have great sales going on – right now, everything is 40% off!
