Hi friends! It’s been literally MONTHS since I last logged into WordPress to draft a blog post, and I was feeling an itch to write a post and create….since it’s been so long. I’ve missed this little corner of the Internet a lot, but with so many projects to juggle, it was the one thing I had to step away from in order to make the other things happen. Ironically, I’m not any less busy right now, but we have some exciting projects we’re working on and I wanted to make an effort to document them better than I have been!

The charcuterie business I launched in 2020 is taking up a majority of my time these days, and I’ve been humbled by the growth that has happened over the past (almost) two years. Who knew that a fun hobby was going to turn into a real business?! It’s been a fun experience navigating business ownership and I’m so grateful I decided to pursue it two years ago. With that said, running a business is no walk in the park and I’ve had my fair share of stress and frustration! This blog was the biggest thing I had to give up when focusing on the business, but to be transparent, I’ve also had to miss out on family time, holiday fun, and more to make the business grow. We’re finally at a point where we’re looking to bring on a team, so hopefully I can take a step back and have a break every now and then. 🙂
Since I last blogged, we’ve done a ton of house projects and of course, I haven’t blogged about any of them. I’m going to try and catch up on these, since there are some good ones! We are getting ready to tackle some of the biggest projects to date – remodeling our master bathroom and our girls’ bathroom. It’s been a lot of fun pulling together the design scheme for the girls’ bathroom and we’re actually getting ready to begin that project in a few weeks. I have a designer helping with our master bath project, so we still some planning to do before we jump into that full force! I’m hoping to hop back into blogging by sharing more about these projects as we go along.

I’ve also been very focused on my fitness journey over the past year, as I started seeing a dietitian and taking muscle growth seriously. I have so so much I can share about what I’ve learned and hope to work on some posts about this topic!
Lastly, I’ve been receiving Trunk Club boxes regularly and have a few recent ones I’ve been wanting to share – I’ll try to put together a Spring try-on post soon!
Thank you for sticking around this space even though I’ve been MIA! I hope to prioritize writing on the blog more, as I truly miss blogging and sharing my favorites, ideas and thoughts with you!
