We’ve been living in our house here in Memphis for almost 1.5 years now, and I’m just getting around to a home tour. Mostly because it’s taken forever to paint and decorate. 🙂 Moving when you’re pregnant and then the first year of a new baby’s life makes things a little crazy, so we’ve been (very) slowly crossing things off our to-do list.
While I was away at the beach with the girls, my amazing husband (*wink*) decided he would paint our master bedroom. We’ve only had the paint forever – we had struggled to get started on this project in the past because our master is SO big and we knew it would take a while. But I’m happy to say he wrapped up this project pretty quickly and a little paint makes a world of difference – our room feels so much cozier now that the boring beige walls are gone. We still have a LOT to do in this room, especially with so much space to work with. I’ve been pinning ideas for a while and I definitely think I’ve narrowed down a style I like, so the next project is finding a new bed, wall decor, furnishings, etc. Stay tuned – I’ll be sharing my ideas/inspiration in another post 🙂
Here’s what our master bedroom looks like currently:
