When we moved to our current home, we wanted to set up Blair’s new bedroom to look similar to her old room back in Virginia – down to the wall color, which was a gorgeous mint green (you can peek at old pictures here). We went a little crazy at Sherwin-Williams right before move-in day and bought paint for most of the downstairs, including her new room. Apparently, in my state of pregnancy brain, I picked a color that I thought looked minty but it turned out to be almost a sky blue color. Not sure how I thought it looked like mint green, but oh well – long story short, I still really don’t love her room color…but she doesn’t seem to mind. 🙂
I love her big IKEA dresser and storage cube in her room – and I try to keep most of her toys in the playroom instead of her bedroom, so it’ll stay relatively neat.
The bookshelves are a Pinterest IKEA hack, and we loved them so much, we put some in Blakely’s nursery, too!
