I wasn’t sure if I was going to post about (or shop) the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year, but I had been watching all of the early access coverage and saw some really cute pieces I wanted to get my hands on! I’ve actually done a good job building my warm weather wardrobe this year, but I have very few fall and winter options so I decided this would be a great time to stock up.
I don’t have a Nordstrom credit card, so I had to wait impatiently until the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opened for public access today and I actually set my alarm for 3am to ensure I got things I wanted…a little crazy, I know, but things sell out so quickly! I had already browsed the sale and created a wish list on Nordstrom.com so I could easily add those things to my cart when the sale opened. The site was a little glitchy a few minutes after the sale opened and it wouldn’t let me check out so I was a little nervous, but I refreshed and was able to place my order. I wanted to share what I snagged and a few more things I have my eyes on in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (some are currently out of stock but could be restocked – fingers crossed!).
Pants
These have gotten rave reviews and I’ve had my eye on them since last year. I like versatile options, and these will be perfect to throw on with a number of different tops this winter.
Articles of Society Sarah Skinny Jeans
I have a pair of white Articles of Society jeans and love the fit, so I thought I’d try these too since I need some more denim for fall. I’m picky about jeans so we’ll see if I end up keeping or returning these!
I had these in my cart and almost bought them but hesitated since I just started a new workout program and I’m kind of in-between sizes…so I didn’t want to spend all the $$$ and the jeans end up too big. These are super cute, though and a great deal!
If I were going to splurge, it would definitely be on denim. I have several good quality pairs of jeans in my closet but most are either too big or not my style any longer (I just can’t do bootcut, even if they are somewhat in style). My most-worn jeans currently all cost less than $60 each, but these AG jeans would be a great classic to add to my wardrobe. I didn’t get these but I love them!
Tops
I wanted this top last winter but held off, so I just had to grab it during this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Free People is one of my favorite brands for comfortable, functional tops. Unfortunately, two of the colors I liked were out of stock but I’m hoping there will be a restock soon. I did get the grey and navy, though!
These are super cute and I love the color options – these are great for layering in the fall. I already have several similar tops in my closet so I skipped these this time, but you really can’t go wrong with plaid button-downs!
I’ve seen so many bloggers post their try-ons wearing this top and I’m regretting not grabbing one earlier when I placed my order! Love the colors and how easy this would be to throw on with skinny jeans and booties this fall.
Workout
I have a pair of these in black and they’re so comfortable. I’ve heard people compare them to Lululemon WunderUnders, but I’ll be honest, my WunderUnders are still my favorite. However, for $39, these Zella leggings are basically a third of the price and they’re still super comfy! Love the colors – perfect for fall.
I love the classic fit of this workout tank – this is my favorite style lately. I remember when Adidas was super trendy back in the day, so I love this throwback logo tank.
Zella Meditate Cropped Leggings
I prefer full length leggings for Pure Barre, but if cropped ones are more your style, these are the cutest. And a great price. I love the mesh cut-outs!
I loved the blue-gray color of these and have been wanting to try a pair of Alo leggings forever – these made it into my order! I basically wear the same colors to Pure Barre all the time and I’ve been wanting a different color to add to my legging rotation. I also love the mesh – it adds a little something!
Shoes
These were the shoes I was eyeing but they were sold out in the color I wanted this morning. I am going to keep tabs on these to see if there’s a restock happening anytime because you better believe I’m ordering these ASAP if so! So cute.
I was actually able to grab a pair of these (or two, by accident…#3amproblems) and I love the low heel – perfect for keeping up with two little ones but still cute! If I’m able to snag the Lucky Brand wedges, I might return these…we’ll see.
Dresses
This is a super cute, simple dress that you could easily dress up or down. I actually didn’t notice it until after I’d checked out but truthfully I don’t wear dresses as much since I spend most of my time chasing after kids…so I didn’t get this, but I still love it!
This would be super cute with a midi sweater and booties. I love Leith dresses and I almost grabbed this one…looking back, I probably should have!
