{New Home} Master Bedroom

Our master bedroom is really nice – a huge walk-in closet, two big windows for plenty of light, and a gorgeous tray ceiling – not to mention, there’s a ton of space. We got new bedding for a wedding gift last year, so I planned our room decor around that. We DIY’ed our bedroom furniture by sanding, painting it off-white and distressing – the dresser & matching vanity for now – and I plan to either do the same to our bed frame, or find an off-white upholstered headboard to complete the look.

Here’s a few photos of our room & DIY furniture – I still need to put up pictures and I want to get a mirror for one of the walls, too. Also, I plan to move the green drapes (which I love) to the living room and put the living room drapes in our room (they are brown and match our comforter better!). I’m also on the lookout for the perfect side tables to go on both sides of the bed…so this room is definitely a work in progress!
