It’s hard to believe my baby is turning two in a few weeks! I’m sort of in that denial stage right now, yet the party planning continues because there’s only so much time to get it all together. I love picking party themes, and Blakely is still at an age where I can lend a hand in theme decision-making – though it’s probably my last year of that since she’ll certainly have an opinion by next year 😉 Blakely has a gorgeous gold pineapple print in her bedroom and it inspired me to come up with a pineapple birthday party theme. I could have sworn I saw lots of pineapple decor earlier in the year in the Target dollar section and in the party section, but I’ve honestly had the hardest time piecing together the decor now that it’s almost party time!
I did a lot of Pinterest/Etsy/Amazon/Target searching (and my mom found the cutest napkins at Walmart, of all places!) and was able to come up with a relatively coherent decor scheme. Here’s a little of my pineapple birthday party inspiration:
I ended up finding most of my decor on Amazon, but I’ve picked up a few gems at Target and HomeGoods, too! My plan is to stay on theme with food as well, so I’ve been having fun brainstorming ideas that incorporate pineapple or Hawaiian recipes. If you have any good recipes, share them in the comments section below!
You can view my pineapple birthday party Pinterest board here for more ideas. Stay tuned, because I’ll be sharing photos from the actual party and what I actually purchased for decorating!
What an adorable theme! Can’t wait to see how this cute party turned out.
