I’ve pretty much always loved shopping at LOFT – well, there was this one time they seemed to lose their course (a few years ago), but they’ve made a big comeback with some adorable styles! The one piece of advice I always give about shopping at LOFT is to wait for a sale – because you better believe there will be one. No need to pay full price for something you can snag on sale!
I’d been eyeing some things and finally decided to order when they had a big sale last week (40% off + up to 60% off clearance). The sales have changed again since then, but there’s still a LOT of deals to be had! I already shared some photos via Instastories if you follow me there, but wanted to get a post up highlighting the pieces I ordered and what I liked/didn’t like. For reference, I almost always choose a Medium in LOFT shirts because otherwise they’re too short for my torso. But, I do find that some pieces run big, especially pants/bottoms – and occasionally a dress or shirt will, too, which means a trip to the store for a quick (and free) return/exchange for a smaller size.

1 – Sapphire Foldover Off-Shoulder Tunic
All the YESES to this top! I saw this on several bloggers and thought it was super cute and it happened to be on sale when I ordered. It’s the softest, coziest material and I’m all about off-shoulder tops, of course. The best part is, it stays put, so no fumbling with the fabric to constantly pull it down or up. KEPT.
2 – Tie Cold Shoulder Tee in Stratosphere Gray
This top is so cute and perfect for this overly warm fall weather we’ve been having. The color says ‘gray’ but it’s actually a purplish color. Super cute! KEPT.
I’ve featured this shirt on the blog before, but I waited and waited until it was finally on sale to snag one. I had high hopes, but ultimately, it ran a little big and I didn’t love how it looked on. Also, I have tried to make sure the clothes I buy will be worn over and over – so if it’s something I might wear once and then it gets shoved to the back of my closet, I opt to return it. No need to be wasteful and hold on to things I’m not in love with! RETURNED. (But it is on sale currently if you like it!)
4 – Long Sleeve Vintage Soft Tee
I like to have a few basic tees in my closet to wear with sweaters and vests, so I grabbed one of these while it was on sale (currently only $15!). It’s really soft and comfortable, and the sleeves are actually long enough for my arms. I do wish it was a straight hem instead of shirttail hem, but it actually works well when wearing it under a vest. KEPT.
5 – Tie-Back Mixed Media Sweater
I saw this one on someone’s Instastory a few weeks ago and thought the back was adorable! It was on sale, so I ordered one. 🙂 I do think the front is a little basic, but the detail on the back makes it worth it. Plus, I like classic/basic items that can be worn more than once – aka, something that isn’t so trendy you wouldn’t be caught dead in it next year. KEPT.
Overall, I try to stick to more classic pieces when I shop anywhere. I don’t necessarily do the capsule wardrobe-type thing, but I prefer to keep it classy and cute and make sure I can wear it multiple times (and in different ways!).
