I had such a craving for a nutrient-packed smoothie yesterday, so after a long yoga class, I found myself at the grocery store….impulsively buying too many fruits & veggies. Does this ever happen to you? I mean, I usually stick to a grocery list, because I’ve learned that I tend to buy too much and it ends up going bad before I use it. Oops. I’m going to do my best to incorporate all the extra produce into my meals this weekend!
- 1/3 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/3 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach
- 3/4 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder
