I️ can’t believe we’re just a few weeks away from Brynn’s first birthday – how did this year fly by so quickly?! Usually, I️ would have been planning birthday parties months in advance, but with our current quarantining efforts, we’re keeping things small and just having a family party. To be honest, that takes a LOT of pressure off me as a party planner and host – but with that said, I️ still enjoy the party planning process. Even if it’s on a smaller scale, I️’m looking forward to throwing a watermelon first birthday party for our littlest one!

While I️ don’t plan to go overboard with food and decor, I️ still want Brynn to have a special first birthday like her sisters did when they turned one. I️ saw some really cute watermelon first birthday ideas on Pinterest and decided it was a cute theme (and it’s easy to find watermelon party decor and ideas!). I️ thought I️’d share some things I️ have my eye on for her upcoming birthday party, plus some cute food ideas.

Oh my goodness this is absolutely ADORABLE!!! Makes me want to have a summer baby just to have this party theme lol! Love it!
Haha! It is pretty cute! I️ have three kids whose birthdays are days and weeks apart, so I️ have a feeling unique themes are going to get harder to come by!
