So I have a confession…I haven’t even started researching wedding cake bakers in the area. I realized that we’re getting awfully close to the big day (4 months!), and I haven’t even contacted anyone about cakes yet. We opted for simple! And we just did marble cake with buttercream icing! The lady we used has been making birthday cakes for my family for over 10 years! Let me know if youd like her info. She was extremely budget friendly too as the cake was not something I wanted to spend a fortune on!

I've always wanted my wedding cake to be simple, but elegant. I don't want something too over the top. As you've mentioned there are other things worth spending more money on.
