We just entered Week 14 a day ago, so this weekly recap isn’t SO far behind the times 😉
How far along? 13 weeks. Is 13 or 14 the official start to the 2nd trimester?!
Baby size: A peach!
Weight gain: Only 1lb…I’ll take it.
Maternity clothes: Nope – but the rubber band trick came in handy this week for the first time!
Sleep: Never. enough. Still no sleeping in on the weekends. #why
Gender: Not yet – we’ll find out in April 🙂
Best moment this week: Hearing baby’s heartbeat at our ultrasound this week…163bpm!
Looking forward to: Warmer weather, so that running outside isn’t painful.
Food cravings: Avocado, cheese, pineapple, seafood…preferably fried. Who am I?
Weirdest food I ate this week: Homemade baked salt & vinegar chips. Did not cure my craving for salt & vinegar…but thanks for trying, babe 😉
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still feeling queasy while taking my vitamins or brushing my teeth…
Labor signs: No.
What I miss: Not being tired…oh wait, that’s never happened.
Symptoms: Tiredness, occasional nausea, headaches.
Workouts: Still running about 20 miles a week. We’ll see how long that lasts!
Things that suck: DREAMING. Omg, the dreams. I mentioned that I hadn’t had any dreams this entire time…and then they happened with a vengeance. Some are what I would consider nightmares…and that’s no fun, waking up at 3am with your heart pounding.
Things that don’t suck: Eating cheese with everything.
