How far along? 15 weeks.
Baby size: A navel orange.
Weight gain: Not much at all, and I must say, I’m super surprised. I had a feeling I would just gain weight from the very beginning but it’s been very slow so far!
Maternity clothes: Still in regular clothes, with the occasional rubber band trick or belly band put to use. I went shopping over the weekend and stocked up on long summer dresses and a few maternity dresses/shirts.
Sleep: The Snoogle works miracles. I usually do wake up at some point but overall, I can’t complain.
Gender: Not yet – we’ll find out in April.
Movement: I’ve been feeling little flutters this week and think that it’s baby…
Best moment this week: Stocking up on dresses for summer…and a maternity swimsuit for vacation in May…exciting!
Looking forward to: Warm weather…tired of winter coats and uncomfortable jeans.
Food cravings: Seafood, cheese, a random craving for pudding? I don’t know…
Weirdest food I ate this week: I actually think I ate pretty normal foods this week…that’s a first.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Brushing my teeth, vitamins…the usual. Still getting queasy at random times.
Labor signs: No.
What I miss: Mimosas. It’s weird…I honestly can’t stand anything about alcohol right now…except for the thought of a mimosa. I guess plain OJ will have to do for now.
Symptoms: Occasional queasiness, feeling tired…but not nearly as tired as of late…I’ve actually been able to clean the house, which is a huge improvement.
Workouts: Keeping up the 18-20 miles a week. When the weather is nice, it’s SO much more enjoyable.
Things that suck: Randomly feeling queasy and feeling really full after eating…anything.
Things that don’t suck: Discovering lavender epsom salt baths. One of the best things my doctor told me from day one was taking warm baths are NOT bad for you…and they’re the best thing for dealing with being achy/uncomfortable. #BestDoctorEver
